For Melbourne Fringe Festival 2023, TYBB transformed the Trades Hall loading dock into a high-energy Festival Hub responding to the theme Play Up.

The concept centred on playful rebellion - inviting audiences to reconnect with their inner child through bold colour, exaggerated scale and interactive design moments. At the heart of the space sat a giant playpen photo installation bursting with toy-like forms that encouraged hands-on engagement.

Across the site, layered graphics, saturated hues and expressive mark-making turned the industrial venue into a fully realised world of movement and mischief.

A vibrant, joy-fuelled Hub that placed TYBB’s world-building front and centre.
